  As a teacher trainee of Vadakkadathucavu GVHS School were excited about each and every moment of the school experience. Every day brings us different experiences to be learned from and enables us to train ourselves for the art of teaching. Even when we entered into the seventh week of teaching practice we went there with an open mind to absorb the dimensions of education from the school. The assembly that we started also had importance in teaching us how to organize students for specific assembly. After the assembly we were assigned various periods assigned for the week and the portions to be completed for the week. During the assembly, our headmistress informed that the Onam Exam will be held on the second week of August. So, teachers ensured that we were on the right track.

The reflection session started with the experience shared by me from the Vadakkadathucavu GVHSS School. Vinoy K V shared the number of templates completed and the activities of the classroom. During the session, he also shared the reflection of involving in class 10 students and the project activities. Then, Devananda and Ms. Kripa K from Pope Pious HS shared their involvement in mid term exam sessions. Teacher also instructed them to plan the lesson templates based on the number of days left in the school. Then, Ms Nitya Murali reflected upon the extra activities such as book exhibition conducted in the school. She also shared her date for achievement test and project experiences. It was followed by Ms. Aiswarya R from Vivekananda HS shared about the experiences of school exam supervision and extra curricular activities in the school. Teaching practice becomes meaningful only when we conclude it with a general reflection. It was a time we reflect upon ourselves, listen to the teaching experiences of others and learn from the feedback of our teachers. We get necessary fuel for the next week of classes from this platform. General reflection of the fifth week teaching practice happened on 15th July 2023. The reflection was happened department wise. We English students gathered together under the guidance of Mrs. Harsha S. Teacher evaluated our lesson templates and provided us with the necessary instructions to be implemented in the next week of classes. The reflections session started from me. Reflection of week 4 was conducted on 8 th  July 2023 under the guidance of Prof. Harsha S. The session was in online mode.  Teacher provided us necessary instructions to do for the next day and the aspects to be presented during the reflection. The reflection session was started with me. Then I shared the number of Lesson Templates completed and the experiences of Diagnostic Test. It was followed by my reflection of the school experiences. Then Vinoy shared his experience of school assembly, extra activities and the class experiences. Teacher instructed us to give remedial classes for diagnostic test in the next week. Then, Ms. Divya S shared her reflection based on the number of lesson templates and remedial classes for diagnostic test. Third week of our teaching practice was started with the smiling faces of our dear students. They used to present there in the playground while we enter into the school premises.  We had two holidays for Festival and to substitution class was also there on Saturday. For the four days, we could learn from teachers, students, parents and the school environment. There was an assembly on Friday based on Child Abuse Awareness Day. On that day, students of class 4 presented different programme including speech, quote presentation, songs, pledge etc. Assembly was also become a place for us to learn many thing. We become updated with the specialty of different days. The thoughts shared by students and teachers become an icing of the cake for us.  We also had a programme on 26th June 2023 based on "Drug Awareness" by Mrs. Hazeela B. She is an excise officer.
