TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II WEEK 5 REFLECTION

Teaching practice becomes meaningful only when we conclude it with a general reflection. It was a time we reflect upon ourselves, listen to the teaching experiences of others and learn from the feedback of our teachers. We get necessary fuel for the next week of classes from this platform. General reflection of the fifth week teaching practice happened on 15th July 2023. The reflection was happened department wise. We English students gathered together under the guidance of Mrs. Harsha S. Teacher evaluated our lesson templates and provided us with the necessary instructions to be implemented in the next week of classes. The reflections session started from me. I shared experiences of classroom teaching focusing on the number of lesson templates covered, activities participated, general observation experiences etc. It was followed by my reflection. Then Vinoy shared his experience of dealing with the new class of students and my project experience among class 10 students. He also shared about the feedback of general teachers after their observation session. It was followed by the reflection of Ms. Vandana Raj from Kodumon Government High School. She focused her reflection on the different types of activities she introduced in her classes and the experience of general class visit. Ms. Sneha Merin Prince from the same school also expressed her personal review of dealing with different types of students ranging from poor to excellent. In the end, Harsha teacher concluded the session and shared the details of activities to be completed within a prescribed time format.
